i learned to program to make little games on the ti-83 plus calculators (i know, super easy). one day at staples, i found a weird OS called "Red Hat" (v5.3 if i rememer). i had no idea what it was, so i grabbed it and have since been trying out different linux distros and eventually moved to freebsd as my main system.
